  医疗体系应该全面支持母乳喂养

  “整个医疗体系应该接受跨科室培训,通过系统性医疗课程全面了解母乳喂养是一种疾病预防措施,能够预防生命各个阶段的多种疾病。”Paula Meier 教授是拉什大学医学中心新生儿重症监护病房 (NICU) 泌乳支持主任,也是全球 NICU 泌乳支持领域最受欢迎的专家。虽然全球众多医学倡议已认识到,大剂量亲母母乳对于早产儿十分重要,有助于减少致命的坏死性小肠结肠炎、迟发性败血症、支气管肺发育不良(严重的呼吸系统疾病)、再次入院以及后续的神经发育问题。然而,全球并未实施标准化基于循证学的方案,以支持这些全球倡议。Meier 教授从 1996 年拉什大学医学中心启动的“亲母母乳支持项目”中汲取经验教训,提出了在全球 NICU 实施新型标准化母乳喂养支持最佳临床路径,提出医院里干扰早产儿母乳喂养的七大障碍,以及如何通过低成本措施和同伴咨询系统来克服这些障碍。
